Resources and Useful Information
Welcome to our little corner of calm! A collection of resources designed to support your journey toward understanding, confidence, and connection. Whether you’re a parent wanting to better understand your child, or a young person exploring who you are, these podcasts, books, and pages have been hand-picked to inspire, inform, and empower.
What is Neuro-Affirming Therapy?
Being neuroaffirming means that we support and respect each young person’s unique way of experiencing the world, whether they are Autistic, have ADHD, or simply see and feel things differently. Instead of trying to “fix” traits or behaviours, we focus on understanding the why behind them and helping each person build confidence in their identity.
For parents, this means therapy that values your child’s individuality and strengths while providing practical strategies that truly work for them — not against who they are. For young people, it means a space where you can be yourself without judgement, explore what makes you you, and learn skills that help you thrive in your own way.
At Soulful Psychology and Wellness, our goal is to empower every young person to embrace their authentic self, feel connected and capable, and move through life with confidence and compassion.
